Purpose of our content
Articles, form guides, and news posts on this site are educational. They explain common USCIS processes in plain language so Columbus and Central Ohio clients can prepare documents more confidently. They are not legal advice and do not create an attorney-client relationship.
Who creates the content
Content is prepared by the Asal Immigration Services document-preparation team at our Columbus office (3185 Morse Rd, Ste 15). Preparers are non-attorneys. When a topic involves legal strategy, court, waivers, or eligibility judgments, we state that a licensed immigration attorney should be consulted.
Sources we rely on
- Official USCIS form pages and policy manuals
- Department of State visa and consular guidance where relevant
- Published government fee schedules and processing-time tools
We link to the official source on every resource page so readers can verify current fees, editions, and rules.
Review and updates
Priority guides show a “Reviewed” date. We re-check those pages when USCIS announces fee, form-edition, or process changes, and during periodic site audits. If something on a page may be outdated, follow the official government link before filing.
Corrections
Found an error? Email 1@asal.llc or call (380) 269-7408. We review correction requests and update pages when the change is confirmed against official sources.
