What to gather before contacting us

This is an appointment preparation list. The responsible agency’s current instructions and your individual case determine the filing requirements.

  • The application identifier you retained
  • Your passport details for comparison with your records
  • The confirmation page or a copy, if available
  • Instructions from the embassy or consulate handling your case

How to organize this task

  1. 1. Use the official retrieval instructions

Follow the State Department’s DS-160 instructions to retrieve or reprint an existing confirmation. Do not assume that a missing printout requires a new application.

  2. 2. Check the copy is readable

Keep the barcode, identifying information and application reference legible. Compare the copy with the record you accessed.

  3. 3. Keep appointment instructions alongside it

The consulate’s current instructions determine how the confirmation is used. Asal can discuss a printing or organization task; we do not guarantee account access or appointments.

Preparation scope and price

We can help organize the records and type information you provide after confirming the task. You select the request and review every answer. Legal eligibility, strategy and representation require a licensed immigration attorney or a DOJ-accredited representative working through a recognized organization.

Request a written quote for this specific task before work begins. Government charges, professional services and translation work are separate unless expressly included. The office will confirm availability, required records and preparation timing; agency processing and outcomes are outside our control.
