Translation records for an RFE response
When an RFE concerns a translated document, keep the request, source record and translation together. Confirm the required language and certification using the notice and official instructions.
What to gather before contacting us
This is an appointment preparation list. The responsible agency’s current instructions and your individual case determine the filing requirements.
- The RFE pages that identify the translation issue
- The complete, readable source document
- The existing translation and translator certification, if any
- Correct spellings of names and other reference records you can provide
How to organize this task
1. Identify the exact document
Match the RFE item to the source record. Check whether any page, stamp or handwritten entry is missing from the copy.
2. Confirm the translation scope and quote
Tell the office the document language, length and stated deadline. Translation availability, timing and charges must be confirmed for that document.
3. Keep the response instructions separate
A completed translation is one part of the response. You or your authorized representative decide how to assemble and submit the full RFE response.
Preparation scope and price
Ask Asal about translation coordination and document organization. We do not guarantee that a translation alone resolves the RFE or determine the legal sufficiency of the response.
Request a written quote for this specific task before work begins. Government charges, professional services and translation work are separate unless expressly included. The office will confirm availability, required records and preparation timing; agency processing and outcomes are outside our control.
